HDPE Knitted Net Manufacturing Process

At SNY, we manufacture high-quality HDPE knitted nets through a fully controlled production process, from raw material selection to final packing.
Our advanced production system ensures durability, UV resistance, and consistent performance across all applications including agriculture, construction, and industrial use.

Step 1 - Raw Material Control

We carefully select premium-grade HDPE resin to ensure product durability and long service life.

  • HDPE resin selection for high strength and flexibility
  • UV stabilizer mixing (up to 6,000 ppm) for long-term outdoor performance
  • Color masterbatch control for consistent color quality
  • Material testing including MFI (Melt Flow Index) and density

Step 2 - Extrusion Process

We produce yarns using both mono filament and tape extrusion technologies to meet different application needs.

Mono Filament Extrusion

Round yarn, high tensile strength, ideal for premium shade cloth and high-performance nets

Tape Extrusion

Flat yarn, cost-efficient solution, widely used for standard netting product

Drawing & Annealing

Filaments are cooled, drawn to align molecules for strength, and then annealed with heat to lock in dimensional stability.

Winding

Uniform yarn winding with controlled tension for downstream knitting consistency. For mono filament yarn, we use two winding methods depending on production requirements

- Bobbin then Beam

Mono filament thread is first wound onto individual bobbins, which are then loaded and wound collectively onto the beam for warping. Used for smaller amount production

- Direct to Beam

Mono filament thread is wound directly onto the beam, bypassing the bobbin stage for more efficient production runs

Step 3 - Warping Process

Warping prepares yarns for the knitting process with precise alignment and tension control.

Step 4 - Knitting Process

We use advanced Raschel knitting machines to produce durable and flexible HDPE nets.

  • Raschel Knitting : Main production method, strong and stable knitted structure
  • Pattern Control : Mono + Mono construction / Mono + Tape construction / Precise mesh size control
  • Machine Types : EL machines and high-speed knitting machines for mass production

Step 5 - Heat Setting Process

Heat setting stabilizes the fabric structure and enhances product performance.

  • Temperature stabilization
  • Shrinkage control
  • Improved fabric strength and dimensional stability

Step 6 - Finishing Process

Final processing ensures the product meets customer requirements.

  • Cutting to required size
  • Edge reinforcement for durability
  • Eyelet installation (optional)
  • Folding or roll packing options

Step 7 - Quality Control

Strict quality control is applied throughout the production process to ensure consistent performance.

  • GSM (weight) measurement
  • Width and length tolerance inspection

Step 8 - Packing & Loading
